What role do American Christians have in preserving a Christian presence where Jesus of Nazareth lived and died? Anne Lynn, president of AFEDI, will speak about the status of present-day Christians in the Holy Land and the impact of Christian institutions there.
Even as Christians flee violence and seek opportunity abroad, Christian schools and hospitals remain to serve an increasingly poor, Muslim, and Arabic population. Highly regarded by people of all faiths, these institutions throughout the Middle East are a moderating force for peace, economic stability and hope. Christian pilgrims to the Holy Land are critically important to the survival of these institutions and to a lasting Christian presence in the birthplace of our faith.
