Diane is a native of Washington State. She and her husband Terry have been members of Epiphany since 1982 and were married in the church in 1983. They have two grown children, William and Scott. Diane was a primary teacher in the Highline School District for 30 years and Terry is a primary special needs teacher in the Renton School District. Diane has served on the vestry twice, including being the Senior Warden in 1997. When not at church or teaching, Terry and Diane enjoy boating on “Exodus.”
Diane has been the Verger at Epiphany since June 2010. She joined the staff as the Liturgist in 2012. She serves under the direction of the clergy to prepare the liturgies for each worship service. She works with all ministries that participate in the services to ensure that services run smoothly. In July of 2015 Diane became the Parish Administrator. In this position she maintains the parish roster, manages the meeting spaces, and attends to other details to help the parish run smoothly in its day to day operations. In all her roles she serves in a ministry of welcome, greeting parishioners and guests, answering questions, and being available to help in anyway needed.
