Haiti Friends of the Orphans Visit to Epiphany

Guest: Father Frank Donaghue
Date: Tuesday, August 28
Time: 7 pm
Location: Christie House Library

We are privileged to have Frank Donaghue, the new Executive Director of Friends of the Orphans/NPH, visit our parish.  Frank, an ordained Episcopal priest, will share stories from the May 2012 visits by Seattle and Boston area supporters to the NPH home in the mountains of Kenscoff and the programs in Tabarre, outside of Port-au-Prince.  They include St. Damien Pediatric Hospital, Kay Germaine Rehabilitation Center for children of disabilities, and the new Angels of Light school and homes.  Of the $3880 raised at the 2012 Have a Heart dinner for Haiti, Epiphany has given $2000 to the St. Helene orphanage.  However, it is your Social Action Committee’s hope that Epiphany can form and send a team to Haiti to participate in ministries such as those to be reported on by Frank.  Please join us for this evening that promises to be inspiring.
