Holy Wednesday – Music in the Style of Taizé

Date: Wednesday, April 16
Time: 7:30 pm, Childcare from 6:30-9:00 pm
Location: Church

The worship tradition known as Taizé began many years ago in the ecumenical French monastic community of Taizé.  It is a quiet service of meditation, reflection, silence, readings, and music in which all are encourage to participate as the spirit moves them.  The liturgy is not only for the worship of God but for the quieting of the soul, which does not happen all at once, but gradually throughout the service.  Then we may be still and at peace in the presence of God.
