In the season of Lent, a group at Epiphany is gathering to discuss the Netflix series, Messiah. Mary Anne Ward and Michael Fraas will lead this 5-part discussion on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm, beginning March 4, 2020. The premise of the show is as follows: “A CIA officer investigates a charismatic figure whose followers believe he can perform miracles; he may be a divine entity or a dangerous con artist.” The show is set in the present and many current socio-political and cultural themes are woven in throughout the series. Each group meeting will be 90 minutes long, and discuss two episodes. Supper will be a simple soup and bread potluck in the Christie Hour Library.
