Sacred Scripture in a Globalized World

A Study of The Saint John’s Bible

Date: Saturday, March 15
Time: 2:00-4:00 pm
Location: Great Hall

Christianity has made the universal claim that Christ has come for all people for all time. Yet, globalization has made it clear that not every country or culture is Christian, nor does every country or culture wish to be.  Can Christianity still hold on to such a belief?  Should it do so?  The Saint John’s Bible cannot fully answer these questions, but it can frame the inquiry.  Through images from The Saint John’s Bible, Fr. Michael Patella will lead the discussion on the role Christianity has played and continues to play in the world.
