This Sunday, meet Palestinian and Israeli Peacemakers! Voices of Hope is a special summer forum for Epiphany, in which we will celebrate six Palestinian and Israeli peacemakers involved in Kids4Peace. These peacemakers are completing the Global Institute, a two-week leadership program in advocacy and social action taking place in Washington DC and Seattle. The forum will be a panel discussion with Q&A.
Get Involved! Support Kids4Peace by Providing Lunch on August 10
Kids4Peace Seattle is doing an Interfaith Day Camp next week at St. Mark’s Cathedral. We at Epiphany have an opportunity to support the camp by providing lunch and a snack for 30 people on Wednesday, August 10.
If you are available to help, please let Kate Wesch know by emailing her or calling the Parish Office. Here are different ways you can plug-in:
- Read over the food guidelines and policies for this interfaith group and come up with a fun and healthy menu by Monday, August 8.
- Go shopping on August 8 or 9 (1–2 people).
- Prepare food at Epiphany in the Fireside Kitchen on Wednesday morning, August 10 (3–4 people).
- Make financial donations to purchase food and beverages for this event. All extra monies gathered will be donated to the Kids4Peace program.
Thank you so much for your support of this vital program!
