The Prodigal Son poignantly captures the path to redemption for the lost and wayward in its vignette about a father and his two sons.  The story’s turning point occurs when the younger son, with nowhere else to go, returns home to his father and elder brother.   Through this return, the younger son finds redemption and his father’s infinite love. In an increasingly transient, virtual and global world, where is  “home?”  How do current trends impact our relationship to the community we live in?  How might these changes in our concepts of “home” and “community” impact our sense of belonging in the external kingdom?
